Orthodontic Treatment
Invisible aligners are a series of custom-made, clear, removable trays that gently move your teeth into the desired position. They are nearly invisible and can be removed while eating, drinking, and brushing – offering maximum lifestyle flexibility.
Ideal for adults and older teenagers with mild to moderate crowding, spacing, or relapse after previous braces. Great for professionals who want a discreet treatment option.
Dr. Shah creates a digital treatment plan and prescribes a series of aligner trays. You change trays every 1–2 weeks and visit the clinic every 6–8 weeks for check-ins.
How many hours a day must I wear aligners?
20–22 hours per day. Aligners should only be removed for eating, drinking (anything other than water), and brushing your teeth.
Can invisible aligners fix severe crowding?
Aligners are best for mild to moderate cases. For severe crowding or complex bite issues, Dr. Shah may recommend braces instead — or a combination approach. This will be assessed at your consultation.
How often do I need to visit the clinic for aligners?
Every 6–8 weeks for a check-in. Between visits, you change to the next set of trays at home, typically every 1–2 weeks.
Will aligners affect my speech?
Most patients notice a slight lisp for the first few days of each new tray. This resolves quickly as your tongue adjusts.
